California

California has it all: rugged coast lines, crowded beach, beautiful surf, breathtaking sceneries, vibrant cities, cultural history, modern ideas, preserved nature, local wildlife, beautiful fauna, terrific sights, expansive national parks, iconic landmarks, and many many more.

California is where I taught myself a lot of things. LA was where I learned how bad traffic can really get. Santa Monica showed me the great melting pot. Santa Cruz was where I taught myself to surf. Joshua Tree N.P. taught me how to climb. San Francisco challenged me with its hills. Hollywood showed me the glitter, the glams and the scientology. San Diego taught me how to chill and be content. California is a lesson to be learned and a lesson to be remembered; something I hold very close and dear to my heart.

California’s deserts may seem barren from the surface-level, but it is teeming with life in many different shapes and forms. In this harsh environment, nature finds a way to survive; this can take shape in many different shapes and forms from spikey cacti, to thin bristle pine trees, to otherworldly shape the Joshua trees take, to the cold-blooded salamanders lurking under the cool rocks, and to many many more. The desert breathes with life.

Nature also breathes life into the rock formations found in Joshua Tree National Park. These clusters form very interesting and beautiful camps of soft and steep boulders that are a sight to see and a climb to be.
